Thank you for considering Graystone for your convention, wedding reception, catering or other special event in Columbus Ohio. When it comes to catering in Columbus Ohio, our menu is of the highest quality. To help us better serve you, please review this information.
Menu Selection:
Detailed menus are included in this publication; however, we are extremely creative and are happy to custom design your menu to accommodate special themes, dietary needs and children’s plates. Children's meals (12 and under) are $7.
One week before your event, you will need to provide us with your final menu selections and your guaranteed number of guests. This information will be used to purchase fresh ingredients for our kitchen production and arrange for the proper number of event staff. We will do our best to accommodate additions to your guest list. You will be invoiced for the guaranteed number of guests or the actual number served, whichever is greater.
Reservations & Deposits:
We are fortunate to be a very well respected and popular banquet hall in Columbus Ohio; consequently, reservations must be confirmed with a signed contract and a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit. This deposit assures us of your intention to use our space and it’s your guarantee that we will hold space exclusively for you. Your deposit is used toward the payment of your total invoice.
Payment:
In an effort to provide you with the best value, we request payment with a personal or cashier’s check at the conclusion of your event. In some cases we may require pre-payment. We do not accept Credit Cards for the payment of banquet events.
Gratuity, Taxes, Fees:
We strive to be as straightforward as possible in our pricing. You will be charged for your food and beverage purchases, plus service charge and tax. In most cases, there are no other fees beyond our standard service charge. Items such as room set-ups, table linens, candle centerpieces, station attendants, and wedding cake service are included in our standard service charge. We do not normally assess room rental fees except in cases of unusual space, set-up, or time requirements.
Typical in the industry, we add a 19% service charge and 6.75% Ohio sales tax to the total bill. Ohio law requires us to tax the service charge also.
